Alex Henshaw Test Flying a Spitfire 1941 Add Video

Alex Henshaw flight testing a MkV Spitfire at Castle Bromwich Birmingham 1941. This ( apart from a few brief seconds with XF) is the only known footage of Alex actually flying. The acting of the "American" is am dram at its worst, but there was a war on. The footage is however graced by 3 real life ATA Spitfire Gels. Brunettes Joan Lees and the Late Diana Barnato Walker and the blonde and lovely and still vice president of The Spitfire society Lettice Curtis. This was culled from the ministry of information film "FERRY PILOT"...available from the Imperial war museum and The RAF Museum. enjoy it and buy your own copy please
