Can someone please explain why as a resident of Solihull paying taxes and receiving services from said BOROUGH we are represented by a Coventry Member of Parliament?

If you're referring to Castle Bromwich it currently comes under the Meriden constituency which is represented by Caroline Spelman. Meriden is in the Borough of Solihull. I believe that Caroline Spelman also has her main home within the boundaries of the borough of Solihull.

Now that Nick Clegg has thrown his rattle out of the pram, and refuses to back the proposed Constituency Boundary changes, Castle Bromwich will remain in the Merdien Constituency and not be transferred to Hodge Hill.

I for one am happy with that.

Why do I have to explain?

If you're happy for Castle Bromwich Ward to be shifted into a  Birmingam Ward I'm happy for you too.

I feel no association with Meriden but a total and utter assocation with Birmingham. I just want to know why your feelings are so strong about this because I feel I must be missing something important.

Why don't you move home into Birmingham then?

I prefer to remain in Solihull MBC which is in the Meriden constituency and to be represented by the MP for Meriden.

You aren't answering my question, which is serious. What is so bad about being in a Birmingham constituency, what is so good about a Meriden constituency? Why is my postal address a Birmingham one when I live in Castle Bromwich? The same as St Mary and St Margaret's School, the church, Arden Hall, Castle Bromwich school. They all have Birmingham addresses, hence the strong association I feel with Birmingham having lived in Castle Bromwich for the bulk of my life. I do live in Birmingham, everyone in Castle Bromwich does in essence.

Come on tell me your reasons, don't just roll the ball back to me!

The Birmingham address for Castle Bromwich is for postal purposes only.

Your question is "serious"? Pull the other one!

I've already given you my reasons.
