And so it came to pass.....the Parish Council Meeting of 26th October.

30 people attended, for the first time in living memory, the public out

numbered the Councillors.

And the reason was the proposed boundry changes.

What a shame more folk were not in the frame of mind to provide some input on this controversial issue.

I could not attend parish council meeting... but sent emails to all my friends in CB to write to boundary commission and to caroline spellman and Ted Richards... we must fight this.. was thinking of putting up poster in my window... and hand some out... people will only start jumping up when their rates increase.... not heard any feedback from the parish council meeting.....

Happy New Year everyone.

Doc, you can read the minutes of the Parish Council meeting here:-

As I understand the proposals, which I have objected to, IF Castle Bromwich does end up being transferred into the Erdington constituency it will only be for General Election voting purposes to elect our MP. We will remain in Solihull MBC for Council services and paying Council Tax. I am not too sure how voting for Castle Bromwich Councillors will be handled though. Maybe we will get polling cards from Birmingham Council for General Elections and from Solihull MBC for local elelctions. Perhaps Ted Richards, if he reads these comments, will tell us.
