I see that the Police and Trading Standards have been out in Castle Bromwich clamping down on Scrap Metal Merchants who excessively trumpet their arrival. Documentation was also checked and the vehicles checked to ensure road worthyness. Two vans were seized for being driven without insurance and the drivers will be prosecuted. If you have the ehicle registration number of a scrap metal dealer causing a noise issue,please contact Solihull Councils ‘Connect’ service on 0121 704 8369.
