I see in the Goverments list of proposed constituency boundarys changes that Castle Bromwich is to be moved from the Meriden constituency to Erdington, whilst Shard End is to move from Erdington to Meriden. Water Orton, Coleshill North & Coleshill South are also to be moved to Meriden.

What have we Castle Bromwich residents done to deserve being kicked out of Meriden?

It would seem to be a numbers game to keep the new constituencies within 5% of the electoral quota. However, demographically and from a local government perspective it makes no sense at all. Hard to see how this is in the best interests of local residents. I know that some people have already spoken to Caroline Spelman about their concerns, but I will point them in the direction of your link to have their say. | |
