Why don't any of the scratters from Castle Bromwich support the Garden Fete? I was there for a good hour or so on Saturday and I never heard any kids saying 'ennit' or heard parents swearing at their kids, I never saw the usual myriad of tramp stamps (tattoos) or any dangerous dogs - which is a shame because that means that a big proportion of CB's population was missing. I think that next year the theme of the fete should be EDL related. That will bring them in. Make sure that the DVD stall has plenty of Danny Dyer and Jason Statham films in and you'll make a killing. The book stall won't see much of an increase in trade though.
