I know I have seen, on this site, a posting that informs us of the free admission to Solihull swimming baths. As I recall, it was for under 16,s and over 60,s. Try as I might, I cant locate that information. Would the site owner please post this information again, for the benefit of those who would seek to take advantage. | |

Here's the information - It's under Local News but I'll also post the details under Resources and Useful Links and under What's on.. I've got to have a think about how to design something that makes informmation like this clearly visible after the news item is nolonger current. What do under 16s and over 60s have in common? From April 2009, they'll be able to use Solihull Council's pools for free. The
Council has taken the plunge into a £140 million government scheme
which entitles residents aged 16 and under and over 60 to use its
swimming pools for free. The Council is working in partnership with
Pakwood Leisure Centre and Solihull Care Trust to provide the
initiative for local people which will run from April 2009 to March
2011 and aims to get more people taking part in regular exercise by
2012, to coincide with the London Olympic games. North
Solihull Sports Centre will be participating in this initiative.
