Can it be really true, that SMBC, have seen fit to hold a public meeting, to bring to book, our Parish Council Chairman?

As I understand it, SMBC have seen fit to question this person in public, though the meeting was not even advertised to other councillors,  on the manner in which the Council is administered. No minutes are available, so I am led to believe.

An odour of Watergate wafts through Castle Bromwich.

Any comments to prove me wrong, greatly appreciated. I need to know my council tax subsidy is not entirely wasted.

I can confirm that there was a Public Hearing held at Arden Hall on March 17th. The Agenda can be found on the Solihull MBC website HERE I'm not sure when the Agenda was first placed there. I have been told that Minutes will be publsihed but that in relation to the second hearing at least, only the decsion will be published as there was confidential information given during the Hearing. I can confirm that I know at least one Parish Councillor who was not officially told that these Hearings were taking place. I cannot speak for all Parish Councillors.

A report of the Hearings was published in the Birmingham Post.
