I am sure we have many first class private tutors in the area and I think we should know you are out there. Personally, I am looking for a guitar teacher. Any recommendations will be warmly received. | |

I know of somebody who used to give guitar lessons on the understanding that he can't enter pupils into exams. Would this be any help? If so, I'll check whether he is still giving lessons and get some details. | |

Yes, he's in Castle Bromwich. I've emailed him, but believe he's away at the moment so may be a week or so before I can confirm if he's still giving lessons. I'll also ask my son's friends if they know of any others in Castle Bromwich as they had lessons. | |

Just to let you know that the person I was thinking of has accepted a contract to work away for a period of time, so isn't able to take on any pupils at the moment. I'll keep asking around and see what I can find out. | |
