Castle Bromwich Community Website has been created as an online resource for residents of Castle Bromwich and the surrounding communities. It is intended as a means of promoting the very best of what is available and raising awreness of community groups, local businesses and local resources. It is a place to share experiences and ask for help and guidance in a kindly and supportive way. We welcome all opinions and views, but please remember that what you are sharing is a personal experience or opinion and it may not be an absolute truth for others and keep posts respectful and non-judgemental. Please refrain from posting complaints or gripes about individuals, organisations  and companies in this forum. All such posts will be deleted. It is acceptable to ask for general guidance on how to solve a problem, it is not acceptable to name individuals or organisations as being responsible for what is wrong or to be singled out for their views. For instance, it is acceptable to ask how to resolve an issue where a company has failed to deliver goods but will not refund the money paid; it is not acceptable to name the company.

The administrators of this forum may periodically delete threads that were started more than three months previously even though some of the posts contained within it may be more recent. This will be carried out at their absolute discretion and no explanation will be given.

General courtesy guidelines when posting

Try to stick to the original topic and tone of the thread as a courtesy to the original poster and for clarity. If a new topic of discussion arises from within a thread, please aim to open a new thread with a relevant title or a moderator will split the thread if the digression becomes obvious after several postings.

Posters will vary in knowledge, experience and confidence, please remember this and keep the tone and answers respectful and kindly. Debate and differing opinions are healthy, but must always be conducted with tolerance and respect for others. Remember that without face to face contact humour can sometimes be misunderstood, feel free to use smilies to avoid any such misunderstandings. Appropriate humour is definitely acceptable.
